Hi, I'm the Surly Lightweight Neck Toob. You might remember me from such films as “It's Cold! Don't Forget Your Neck Toob!" and “Look At This Thing, It Came From a Sheep!" Right now you might be thinking, “But Surly, I already have a Neck Gaiter from you guys. Do I really need a Neck Toob?" And the answer is maybe. Unlike the existing Neck Gaiter, which is made of a light inner layer and a midweight outer layer, I'm made of two lightweight layers. For those days when it's too chilly to leave your face and neck exposed but not cold enough for the full-blown Gaiter, I try to provide a nice, moisture-wicking alternative. I'm sized to fit most necks, and I can be worn a bunch of different ways. Thanks for tuning in, we'll see you next time.
Your Friend,
The Surly Neck Toob

Slip this Lightweight Neck Toob from Surly over your head to keep your face and neck warm and dry. Wear it on your bike or wear it when you’re nowhere near your bike. Cuff the hem or don’t. It’s your Toob.
- Lightweight merino wool
- One size fits most
- The product testers say it’s pretty comfortable

Shirts are a color, sometimes it's black, or green, or red, or gray or one they haven't picked yet. Printed Surly logo on the front is a different color, usually black or white.

Once long ago, wool was the material of choice for cycling clothes and other active clothing. In the 80s, synthetics began to replace wool because they were new and shiny and stretchy and you could sublimate flashy, detailed graphics onto them which was a nifty thing for teams and shops. Even while synthetics enjoyed their era of dude-holding-the-bong popularity, however, wool did not die off. It still offered some really great features, like great moisture control and a resistance to putrescent reek. Our jerseys are an excellent example of wool done well. We've tried hard to produce something we hope will become your favorite piece of cycling clothing.
Our long sleeve jerseys are made from medium-weight Merino wool. Merino fibers are soft and non-irritating even on sensitive skin. The fabric weight makes them suitable for cool weather to cold weather. They have a high collar to help keep the cold out and the warm in, and feature long body and long sleeves. The sleeves have reinforced thumb holes to help make sure they stay all the way down as you ride. Like our short sleeve jerseys they feature a full length zipper and a reinforced rear pocket with zippered access on both sides.

Made from lightweight Merino wool, the Surly Raglan offers breathable comfort on warmer days and easy layering during harsh, inhospitable cold.
- 100% Merino Wool is a natural insulator that resists odor and wicks moisture

Sometimes you need a little more than a cycling jersey and other times you need a little less. Enter our wool Raglan Shirts. We took the same reasons and philosophy behind our wool jerseys and applied them to our new wool shirts. Lightweight and comfy, our Merino wool raglan shirt is perfect for layering to help wick moisture or add a pinch of warmth. When it’s hot out, wear one solo to keep yourself high and dry.

That's right, Socks. No fancy name here, no splashy logos, it's the Surly way. What they lack in flash and flair, they make up in awesomeness. They're made from Merino wool for the perfect pairing of breathability and durability. Plus, they keep your feet comfortable in any temperature, even when wet. What more do you need?

Still undecided? Check out these mind-blowing facts from my 4th-grade presentation about sheep.
1) Sheep are smart. They can recognize up to 50 different sheep faces. They can recognize human faces, too — maybe even yours.
2) Sheep have rectangular-shaped pupils that can see almost 360 degrees around them. They can even see what's behind them without turning their head.
3) There are over 900 breeds of sheep in the world. The Merino is a very popular breed, and its fine, soft wool is often used for clothing — for example, the Surly beanie.
In closing, sheep are very interesting animals and their wool is a useful material. Take it from me, I passed the 4th grade.

There are a lot of wool beanies out there, but this one is from Surly. It’s warm. It’s black. It goes on your head.
